7I will not go into the debate about the limitation grounded in respect for other people’s beliefs, recently brought to the fore by twelve Danish cartoons and a German Pope – I do have things to say about it, but since it is a slightly different, although related, problem area, I will leave it aside here, with the qualification that I consider the Caradmom Law’s “do not treat others badly” to apply to direct actions towards fellow human beings, not to actions that someone may feel obliged to take offense of on behalf of super-human beings, prophets, gods, or poets.
